MATT DUSA – VP Innovative Practices, Global Medical Response

Matt Dusa, VP Innovative Practices, is responsible for business development, growth and strategy for Specialty Fire business supporting Rural Metro and Capstone Fire & Safety Management. He believes in concise planning and execution for superior job completion. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Western State College, a Master’s Degree from San Jose State University and is a published author. Matt is a Fire Academy graduate and a trained firefighter and paramedic.

KRISTEN DAVIS, Director of Account Management, Global Medical Response

As the Director of Account Management, Kristen is responsible for new customer acquisition and customer-service satisfaction for the company’s Fortune 500 and enterprise-level accounts. Kristen believes in realizing operational teamwork and efficiencies to ensure customers receive excellent service from their first call to the final invoice of a project. With customer-service excellence, the account base continues to grow through customer referral and a grassroots approach. She is a resourceful leader with more than a decade of experience in management, customer satisfaction, entrepreneurship and proven business acumen. Kristen’s experience spans government contracting, sporting goods, gaming, freight and logistics industries. She recently completed the Paralegal course at Cal State San Marcos and earned an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts.

SHOSHANA JORDAN
SHOSHANA JORDAN, Executive Account Manager, Global Medical Response

As Executive Account Manager, Shoshana’s customer-service experience allows her to understand each customer’s needs and to develop working relationships that meet and exceed those needs. Shoshana is inspired to help others and her attention to detail ensures every project is handled smoothly from beginning to end. Her experience in different industries, including government, automotive, manufacturing and financial services, allows her the opportunity to take leadership roles to help implement new programs, grow small business enterprises, and create a strong foundation for businesses. Shoshana completed OSHA10 training and attended California State University.

RONALD WILLIAMS
RONALD WILLIAMS – Regional Director

Ronald Williams is the Regional Director at Rural Metro/AMR/Global Medical Response, after Capstone was acquired by the company, where he is responsible for the Overall Operations, Business Strategy and Strategic Growth. Prior to joining Rural Metro, Mr. Williams was Chief Operating Officer of Capstone Fire & Safety Management, Inc., overseeing Operations, Logistics, Technology, Program Development and Emerging Technologies. Prior to joining Capstone, he worked in various strategic positions with start-ups, fin-tech, and fast-growing companies with the focus on Strategy, Turnarounds, Human Capital, Organization, and Risk Management topics. He holds an MBA along with certifications in project management, human resources, and real estate.

ROBERT MACKENZIE – Assistant Fire Chief, Program Development

Bob MacKenzie is the Assistant Fire Chief of Program Development, working hand-in-hand with business development to ensure that customer needs are tailored to and that the operations team follows through and delivers. Bob creates work teams with complementary skills and coordinated efforts allowing strengths to be maximized. Bob also develops administrative and operational policies, standard operating procedures, rules and regulations. Bob is a 24-year veteran of the fire service. After 9/11, Bob developed technical procedures to protect the health and safety of the public from terrorism attacks and developed additional safe guards to ensure the health and safety of the public during natural disasters. Bob is a CPR instructor for the American Heart Association, First Aid and CPR instructor for American Red Cross and Council member for the San Diego Burn Institute Advisory.

KELLY SISSON – Division Chief, Wildland Fire

As Division Chief of Wildland Fire Services, Chief Sisson oversees our fire prevention and suppression services that support our sub-business lines of Utility Wildfire, Insurance Response, and Type 2 Hand Crews. Kelly served with Heartland Fire Rescue in Eastern San Diego for 31 years, retiring as a Battalion Chief. During his tenure at Heartland, he was deployed to some of the largest wildfires in U.S. history, including the 2003 Cedar Fire. Chief Sisson has been with Capstone since 2017 and now oversees the Wildland Division which is comprised of more than 40 pieces of rolling stock. He ensures that daily staffing meets the needs of our clients. Chief Sisson holds his degree in Emergency Management from at Cal State Long Beach. He served on the San Diego Urban Search and Rescue Team 8, and responded to the Ridgecrest and Alameda earthquakes, the Olympic bombing in Atlanta, GA, the Los Angeles riots and Hurricane Katrina. His doctrine has always been, “Meet the needs of our constituents’ and clients by bringing everyone home safely.”

DARYN DRUM – Division Chief, Rescue & Industrial Fire

As Division Chief of Rescue and Industrial Fire services, Chief Drum oversees technical rescue teams and industrial firefighters who support daily operations. Daryn is a veteran of more than 35 years in emergency services. He has served in multiple roles, including EMT and paramedic in the private EMS industry, Firefighter Paramedic, Engineer, Captain, Battalion Chief, Division Chief and Fire Chief of a municipal fire department. In his fire-service career, he has held leadership positions in EMS training and administrative divisions. Daryn was also a part of the San Diego Urban Search and Rescue Team for 20 years with multiple deployments, including New York for 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina. He participated in the San Diego Urban Area Type 3 Incident Management Team as one of the Team’s Incident Commanders and as the Liaison Officer.

Daryn has been a licensed paramedic since 1988 and still maintains a San Diego County accreditation as a paramedic. He is a graduate of the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer program and has both a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science degree from California State University, Long Beach.
